What is NACH and Why Does Money Get Deducted?
NACH (National Automated Clearing House) is RBI's system for automated recurring payments. When you sign up for EMI, insurance premium, SIP, OTT subscription or utility payment auto-pay, you give a NACH mandate. The company can then deduct money from your account on due dates without your approval each time.
